  • Summer Baseball Camp Area youth were given baseball tips from former professionals and Sacramento State coaches and players during the fourth annual New Faze Youth Baseball Camp. The camp was free but limited to 150 youth ages 8-18. Players received instruction on pitching, hitting, fielding and base running. The morning and afternoon sessions emphasized various techniques geared to specific skill levels.

Josiah never let the disease define who he was nor did he let it prevent him from playing baseball, his favorite sport. At first, Josiah was the star of Little League, where up to 1,000 people from the community gathered to cheer him
  • UConn Men's Soccer vs. Boston College Highlights Redshirt-sophomore defender Dylan Greenberg found the back of the net with seven seconds remaining in overtime to propel the UConn men’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Boston College on Tuesday night at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium. With the win, Connecticut improves to 11-4-0 while the Eagles move to 6-5-2.
