U.S. Army Veteran Don Pinnacle was one of more than 600 Veterans who participated in the National Veterans Golden Age Games July 10-14 in Detroit. The former 82nd Airborne Soldier and precision parachute jumper with the Army Golden Knights says training for the Games helps him maintain his fitness and competitive edge. The National Veterans Golden Age Games are the world's largest multi-sport event for senior Veterans ages 55 and over, and serve as a qualifier for the National Senior Games.
