RALEIGH — The Northeastern football team lost to Reidsville 31-28 in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) 2A state championship game, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at North Carolina State's Carter-Finley Stadium.
The Eagles (14-1) end the 2018 season as the state runner-up, while Reidsville (16-0) claimed its 20th state championship in football.
