Bizarre Moment Two Japanese Horror Film Ghosts Do Battle On The Baseball Field

Ahead of the release of a film featuring two of Japan's most famous onscreen ghosts, the two characters faced each other on the baseball field.

Two of Japan's most iconic ghosts – Sadako and Kayako - battled it out on the baseball mound in Japan on 1st June to promote the upcoming film 'Sadako vs Kayako'.

The two leading stars from horror movies "The Ring" and "The Grudge" made special appearances at a baseball field in Sapporo ahead of a game between Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and Tokyo Yakult Swallows.

Sadako threw the first pitch which Kayako connected with before collapsing on the field. Her mythical son Toshio, ran to first base on her behalf.

The two characters later spoke to reporters, with Kayako predicting another victory in the film.
