The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team was dealt its third heart-breaking overtime defeat of the season, falling, 68-65, to Northern Illinois University Saturday, Feb. 2, inside the Convocation Center. EMU (10-9, 3-5 MAC) led by as many as 13 in the second half, but NIU (12-8, 4-4 MAC) rallied to force extra time before netting seven unanswered points to close out the contest.
