VR Baseball Simulator

Virtual reality is an exciting tool for creating fun immersive experiences for sports fans while also providing new training tools for athletes. This is my attempt at creating a somewhat realistic yet fun baseball simulator that provides the user with the experience of a baseball batter or catcher facing a pitcher throwing 90-100 mph fastballs.
The simulator incorporates all the usual pitches in a baseball pitcher's arsenal - fastballs, sliders and breaking balls (offspeed pitches) . Location of the pitches within the strike zone as well as their selection is randomized by the simulator to keep the player guessing . The mix of pitches and their speed can be selected by the user. Audio sounds were added to enhance the user experience.
The simulator runs on the HTC Vive headset and was created using Unity 5, Cinema 4D, Mixamo, Adobe Fuse and the SteamVR VRTK toolkit.
