The purpose of this video is to provide baseball athletes and coaches a variety of exercises to regularly incorporate in their respective conditioning regimens. With sport-specific training, the utmost goal is for our training to translate to improved performance on the field. Each exercise and drill has a specific purpose and is designed to correspond to the movement patterns involved with the primary and secondary movements required of baseball players within a competitive setting. All of the demonstrated exercises and drills promote coordinated total body movement with an emphasis placed on speed training, explosive strength, weight transfer, agility, balance, reaction, rotation, proprioception, and kinesthetic awareness.
