Peter Parker hasn't spoken to Gwen Stacey since she ended things between them in Episode 9. A combination of the pain from his breakup and false media reports making Spiderman out to be bad for basketball have forced Peter to quit being Spiderman. This choice was made despite Spiderman 2099 warning Peter that there's great responsibility that comes with the territory. How will Peter react when he crosses paths with Tony Stark aka Ironman who equips him with some new technology right as a new villain emerges on the scene making every attempt to lace up on the court with Spiderman?
