Leading By Example: Gracie Arenas Strittmatter - Video Game Artist

Gracie Arenas Strittmatter ’04 loved playing video games growing up, but it wasn’t until she attended Texas A&M that she realized she could make a career of it. The visualization program in the College of Architecture showed her how valuable her tech skills could be in the gaming field. And today, even though she works as a technical artist for some of the most popular games out there, she hasn’t lost touch with the viz program. It’s grown since she was in Aggieland, but she still sees a lot of herself in current students. That’s why she and her husband Willem ’02 created an endowed scholarship for aspiring gamers: They’re helping other Aggies level up their careers just like
she did.
By creating scholarships through the Texas A&M Foundation, you can support ambitious Aggie students. We invite you to learn more by visiting leadbyexample.tamu.edu/Gracie.
