Welcome to Game Mixer South Africa!
The idea: game developers from all over the African continent, plus Germany, Brazil and Indonesia come together in Johannesburg for a whole week. They exchange experiences and knowledge, share ideas, connect with Joburg’s gaming scene and visit game studios – and play each other’s games, of course!
Game Mixer had its first edition in 2015 in Indonesia and its second iteration in Brazil in 2016. In 2017, it was South Africa’s turn: the country is an emerging market for the gaming industry and home to numerous internationally recognized gaming events. Of course there’s many exciting video game creatives working all over the continent, so we invited some of them to join us for the Game Mixer as well.
